The Canadian Avalanche Centre is Canada’s national public avalanche safety organization. If you sled in Western Canada this site should be on your favourites (computer and phone). They have regularly updated avalanche reports for all of the major mountain areas in the West ranging from a quick rating update to more detailed bulletins. It is essentially a directory full of everything you need to now from online avalanche eduction to courses and most importantly it has links to avalanche reports all over the United States as well as the world. The Colorado Avalanche Information Center is a hotbed of information for anyone playing in the Colorado backcountry. They offer avalanche reports daily for several areas throughout the state. As well you can find snow reports, observations, accident reports and educational information. The Utah Avalanche Center has daily updates on avalanche activity, reports and advisories udated daily on their site. They provide extensive and thorough coverage for the state and if you snowmobile in Utah this should be your first stop everyday. wwww.utahavalanchecenter.org
