Hello, hello hello! We are just checking in with a mid-season report. So how has the sled season been treating you so far?
Oh hey! The season has been nothing but epic (other than the broken finger I have been dealing with). I have been so fortunate with snow conditions in all the stops for the She Shreds clinics. I have pretty much arrived after a huge dump in all places making epic snow conditions to teach in (Quebec clinic got 120cm the day before I arrived, Wyoming stop got an insane dump and sun came out for the 2 days, Revy, Valemount and Golden, both huge dumps before I arrived). I think that horseshoe I put up my butt at the beginning of the season has paid off.

Where is your main riding zones and how have the conditions been?
Home is Pemberton BC and we have had one of the best seasons ever. Amazing cycles of huge snow dumps followed by epic cold sunshine. We’ve had a very safe snowpack too up until 2 weeks ago when a persistent weak layer started haunting us. This weak layer is still there in the high alpine and its warmed up quite a bit now but I’m hoping for cooler temps to come back. Its not spring yet!

Where else have you ridden this season?
Other than home in Pemberton/Whistler, I’ve been fortunate to ride lots of different places this season. Wyoming, Idaho, Quebec, Valemount, Golden, Revelstoke, BC!

Any days that stand out as being particularly epic so far?
Any days on snow with a bunch of ladies are always epic!

What has been the highlight of your season?
The Pemby Life episodes have been the highlight for sure. So fun and its always a pleasure to work with Dragon Factory and Jonathan Schramm, he’s so good at what he does.

Other than an amazingly successful season with She Shreds and bringing a ton of ladies out on snow to progress their skills and safety in the backcountry…there was one drop I did this season that Mcnolty and Jake sussed out for me. Conditions were right, the vibe was there and it was maybe one of the biggest drops I have done. Stoked those boys pushed me!

Thanks for taking the time to update us on your season. Any shout-out’s and thank you’s?
Of course. Thank you to all the ladies (and boys) that have come out for a good time on the snow with She Shreds. Huge shout out to Ski-Doo for their amazing support this season. Huge thank you’s to everyone that supports She Shreds, it wouldn’t be possible for me to do what I do without your support – Toyota, Klim, Skinz, Truckboss Decks, Dayco, Valley Chainsaw Recreational, CFR, Fox, Mammut, Highmark by Snowpulse, inReach Canada, SCS Unlimited, Survive Outdoors Longer, Mt Currie Coffee Co. and last but not least Jonathan Schramm at Dragon Factory.
